What to expect
Four days on two wheels, from Marrakech to the palm groves of Agdz and the mountain roads of Dadès.

Leave the city behind for a long weekend of Atlas passes, oasis valleys and winding roads. This loop links Marrakech, Agdz, Tinghir and Skoura, with a mountain stage via M’semrir and Dadès before returning through Telouet.

Each day brings a different side of Morocco: open southern landscapes, villages built from earth and stone, dramatic valley scenery and the changing colours of the mountains. A compact adventure for riders who want to make the most of four full days.

Draft programme: 4 riding days and 3 nights on the route. Arrival and departure arrangements, any extra nights in Marrakech, hotels and package inclusions remain to be confirmed. Distances and riding times are provisional estimates. The exact Tinghir–M’semrir connection and its surface must be validated before departure.

Discover your journey:

Day 1Marrakech → Agdz

Approx. 280 km · 6–7 hours riding · Overnight in Agdz

The journey begins as Marrakech gives way to the foothills of the High Atlas. A succession of sweeping bends and mountain villages leads into a landscape of rugged slopes and broad horizons, with time to stop and take in the views.

Beyond the mountains, the scenery becomes drier and more open as we continue south towards Agdz. The palm groves and earth-coloured buildings of the Drâa Valley bring a softer end to this first full day on the road.

Provisional distance and riding time. Be ready to ride in Marrakech on the morning of Day 1; arrival arrangements and any preceding hotel night are to be confirmed.

Day 2Agdz → Tinghir

Approx. 230 km · 4–6 hours riding · Overnight in Tinghir

We leave Agdz and its palm-lined surroundings for a day through the wide landscapes of southern Morocco. Ochre hills, small settlements and distant ridgelines give the ride a different rhythm from yesterday’s mountain crossing.

As we approach Tinghir, the contrast between the dry mountains and the green oasis becomes part of the scenery. There is time to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere of the valley before the following day’s ride towards M’semrir and Dadès.

Provisional distance and riding time; the precise roads and stops between Agdz and Tinghir remain to be confirmed.

Day 3Tinghir → M’semrir → Dadès → Skoura

Approx. 230 km · 6–7 hours riding · Overnight in Skoura

A day devoted to the mountains and valleys. From Tinghir, the proposed route heads towards M’semrir before following the Dadès Valley south. The landscape shifts between bare rock, cultivated terraces and villages tucked into the folds of the mountains.

The bends and changing perspectives of Dadès make this a stage to savour. We continue towards Skoura, where the palm grove and kasbah scenery provide a peaceful setting for the final overnight stop on the route.

Route validation required: the exact Tinghir–M’semrir connection is not specified in the brief. Surface, accessibility and difficulty vary with the chosen link. Distance and time are provisional; the final route must match the group and motorcycle choice.

Day 4Skoura → Telouet → Marrakech

Approx. 260 km · 6–7 hours riding · Finish in Marrakech

Leaving Skoura, we turn back towards the Atlas for a final day of changing landscapes. The route via Telouet brings us through mountain villages and valleys, with earth-built architecture and expansive views along the way.

There is time to enjoy the road before the descent towards Marrakech. The city’s bustle returns gradually, bringing this four day loop to a close after the quiet oases and mountain bends of southern Morocco.

Provisional distance and riding time. Motorcycle return, the final overnight stay and onward travel will be arranged once the package is finalised; no same-day flight connection is assumed.
